Where are Mad Science After School Programs held?

Mad Science after school programs are held at the location listed at the time of registration. School programs are held on school grounds – no extra transportation is necessary to participate!

When do I pay?

Payment is required at the time of registration. Mad Science accepts checks or credit cards (over the phone, on the registration form or through our on-line registration system).

What is your class cancellation policy?

We will follow the inclement weather and school closure policy of the school district in which we are instructing. We will attempt to schedule a make-up class, provided the cancelled class takes place at least one week before the start of the next program.

My child usually attends aftercare at the school. Can they still participate?

Yes! Simply select "daycare" as the pickup option at the time of registration and our instructor will make sure your student is escorted to the on-site aftercare program at the conclusion of the class.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

Cancellations communicated to Mad Science prior to the start of class will be provided a full refund less a $10 service charge. Please note that no refunds will be provided after the class has started.

Why would I want to add my child to a wait-list with 5 or more children already on it?

While adding your child’s name to a wait-list does not guarantee them a spot in the class, it does let us know that there is more interest that we originally estimated. A second class may then be added to accommodate the wait-listed children, which is contingent upon school approval and classroom availability.

Can I choose which program to enroll my child in?

Unfortunately, our classes are location specific. We ensure that each semester brings a new science theme to each school. We are unable to give each school a different topic.

What is your student behavior policy?

Our instructors set clear boundaries and expectations as to appropriate conduct. If a child becomes disrespectful or hurtful of others in the program, we will notify you immediately and ask for your help in resolving the situation. If a workable solution cannot be found, they may be asked not to return. There will be no refund.
